WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

You will lie on a massage table in comfortable clothing. Relaxing music plays and you rest! The practitioner uses light touch, manual techniques with the hands to release problem areas. This improves the function of the Central Nervous System, which gives the body what it needs for self-healing.

During the treatment, the Sympathetic Nervous System (flight or fight response) is dialed down and the Parasympathetic Nervous System (rest, digest, repair response) can function and aid in the healing process.

Q: Is Craniosacral Therapy energy work?
A: No, CST is a manual therapy. However, whether it is physical restrictions or energy restrictions that are palpated and found by the practitioner, both will be released through CST techniques.

Q: What will I feel during treatment?
A: This varies from person to person. I feel absolutely nothing, usually, during the treatment itself. But within the next few days and up to a week later, I start seeing/feeling profound results. Clients have reported feeling a deep sense of relaxation; some clients fall into an alpha state of sleep; some clients report feeling physical releases in areas of pain. Many people report sleeping better than they have for a long time.
